With online platform Everyday Lusaka, artist Sana Ginwalla sets out to celebrate everyday but often overlooked experiences across the African diaspora.

Her proposed project, Lusaka Street is a photobook featuring over 50 years of archival work by Black Zambian artist Alick Phiri.

Photography in Zambia has historically being used as a political tool, and Phiri’s work is undocumented academically, artistically and institutionally. This book would be the first of its kind.
