Adél Koleszár examines how systemic violence reshapes culture and identity, leaving enduring effects on social structures, human behaviour and the self. Through her photography she collaborates with marginalised groups and individuals, shedding light on their unorthodox yet resilient responses to violence, poverty and segregation.

Only Have Faith is a photobook that delves into the complex and urgent issue of forced disappearance and the power structures that fuel them. It exposes the de-stablisation tactics used to control territories and resources, leaving communities vulnerable to violence and exploitation. At the heart of the narrative is 'El Collective Solecity de Veracruz', a group of over 200 women committed to searching for their missing relatives within Latin America's largest mass grave. These victims of the alleged drug war and systemic violence in Veracruz, Mexico, are remembered by these relentless volunteers, who are guided by the slogan "only have faith".
