Through photography, Yeray Sabandar aims to make sense of the world around him.

Sabandar has long documented his daily life as a way to navigate the different cultures he found himself in, creating intimate scenes from in and around the home.

His next project takes him inside the world of Basque pelota: documenting the traditional sport’s rise and fall in a bid to preserve it for future generations.
