Silent Echoes delves into the powerful intersection of Deafness and LGBTQIA+ identity, shedding light on the invaluable yet often overlooked contributions of Deaf LGBTQIA+ individuals, particularly during the AIDS crisis. This project amplifies the voices of those who faced the dual challenges of navigating both Deafness and queerness in a society that marginalised them on multiple fronts. Through intimate storytelling, it explores their resilience, activism and the complex personal histories that shaped their journeys.
