Were Afghan Women To Unveil Their Tales is a project offering a close and respectful examination of Afghan’ women’s lives amidst a harsh and increasingly repressive environment. Since the Taliban’s return to power, women’s access to education, work, healthcare, and freedom of movement have been severely restricted. These restrictions shape not only their public existence but also their private lives, confining them within their homes. This project aims to capture the multifaceted lives of Afghan women, highlighting not just the challenges they face but also their strength, hope and unwavering determination. Through powerful imagery, it seeks to reveal the quiet resistance of women whose dreams and identities endure even in the face of overwhelming adversity.
