Anna May Kirk is a multidisciplinary artist, curator and creative producer based on Gadigal land in Sydney, Australia.

Her project 'Year Without a Sun' resurrects the historical climate catastrophe triggered by the eruption of Mount Tambora, using it as a lens to examine contemporary landscapes affected by climate change. The eruption in 1815 led to a global cooling of one degree Celsius, resulting in extreme weather events.
